Ron Moss is an experienced business leader who’s worked in sectors from engineering, logistics and freight tracking to IT services and recruitment. He currently advises a government minister, and holds the position of Non Executive Chairman with two businesses; a creative services firm and Le Bistrot Pierre.

John and Rob, Proprietors

Rob and John have been friends since school, where they shared an ambition from a young age that one day they’d go into business together. At ten years old they weren’t sure what kind of business it would be, but by their early 20’s after discovering dining out “a vibrant environment for two guys who loved food to be in” they realised the restaurant business was for them.

Marylise, Operations Director

Marylise is originally from Nantes in France, she joined the business in 1994 as a Waitress at our Nottingham restaurant whilst studying for a business degree at Nottingham Trent University. Marylise’s warmth and natural talent for working with people and looking after customers meant that in 1996 she was promoted to General Manager at Derby.

Simon, Regional Manager

Simon joined the business in 1996 as a Chef de Partie at the first restaurant in Nottingham. Simon’s talents in the kitchen saw him just a year later be promoted to Sous Chef, and very quickly after that, Head Chef.

Ajay, Executive Head Chef

Ajay joined the business in 2005 and along with developing all dishes for Le Bistrot Pierre, he’s also responsible for sourcing all ingredients and training and developing the chef teams.
