Our tenth bistrot is located in the stunning surroundings of Plymouth’s Royal William Yard, the former Royal Navy Victualling Yard.

It was built by the Royal Navy between 1825 and 1835 and provided the Navy, at home and sea, with food and drink. Our 10th bistrot is situated in the New Cooperage building which opens up onto a large outside terrace with seating. This overlooks a magnificent lawn, upon which a local farmers’ market takes place on the first Sunday of every month. 

General Manager Alexis
Alexis started work as a waiter at the tender age of 15 in a local restaurant in his home town of Samois-sur-Seine and then proceeded to work in some of the finest 5 star hotels and Michelin starred restaurants in Paris.  After completing his Catering and Hotel Management Diploma in 2008 he decided to move to England to improve his English and in the same year joined Le Bistrot Pierre.  Starting out as a waiter in Leamington Spa he rapidly progressed through the ranks.  He became General Manager at Harrogate and then Stockton Heath before heading up our Plymouth bistrot.


Head Chef Dishon
Dishon is another talented kitchen member who's also progressed quickly through the ranks.  He joined the business in 2006 as a Commis Chef at our Leamington Spa restaurant, was then promoted to Chef de Partie, followed by Sous Chef before moving to Stratford-upon-Avon in 2008 as Senior Sous Chef.  Just 2 years later in October 2010 Dishon made Head Chef. He joined Alexis to open our Plymouth restaurant.
