Leicester, our third bistrot is situated in the heart of the city on Millstone Lane.

A charming building originally built by a late Victorian wine merchant who had vines carved to the front facade.

Today the building has eye-catching lilac art nouveau wooden mouldings to the outside, the interior is bright and contemporary yet still warm, and the walls are adorned with hand painted murals that give diners something extra to talk about.

General Manager Tom
Tom started out as a waiter when our Sheffield restaurant opened in 2008 where he had just spent a year working in Rochester, New York, at the renowned Old Toad Pub as part of a degree in Hospitality and Events Management.  After finishing his studies in Sheffield, Tom was promoted to Duty Manager and moved to Leicester.  A years break from Le Bistrot Pierre was spent opening new restaurants for Carluccios and working for Jamie Oliver.  Tom returned to Le Bistrot Pierre in 2012 and shortly took over as General Manager.

Head Chef Kris
Kris joined Le Bistrot Pierre Leicester in 2008 as a Kitchen Porter with high ambitions, his enthusiasm was soon noticed and he was promoted to Commis Chef in spring 2009. He then spent some time working in our Stratford restaurant before returning to Leicester. Following a short departure from the Bistrot family opening a gastro pub in Reading to great success, Kris returned once again to Leicester working his way up the ranks and being promoted to Head Chef in March 2014.

Saturday, 11.30am to 4.00pm
Sunday, 12 noon to 4.00pm

Monday to Thursday, 5.30pm to 10.00pm
Friday and Saturday, 5.30pm to 11.00pm
Sunday, 6.00pm to 10.00pm

Bank Holiday Monday opening hours are the same as Sunday opening hours.
