What our mystery diner had to say:
“We visited Le Bistro Pierre on a hot ,sunny lunchtime. The tables outside were full and the area looked clean and inviting. As we walked in we were acknowledged and then greeted by a smiling, friendly female. She checked the booking and then gave us a choice of seats. The drinks order was taken and the server was chatty and knowledgeable about the wine list. The wine was well chilled, we were asked if we wanted to taste, the wine was poured and we had a chiller. ”
The diner went on to say, “The menu had a variety of different dishes but I think that more vegetarian choices would enhance the menu. We enjoyed the food we chose, the ingredients were fresh and the dishes tasted delicious. The food was attractively presented and well cooked. The portion sizes for all the courses were good and I think the restaurant offers value for money. The service was excellent, we felt well looked after and relaxed. Our main server was friendly and chatty and good at upselling, suggesting sides to go with our mains. All the staff were attentive and checking tables as they walked past, they were efficient, cheerful and friendly. In our experience when a restaurant is quiet the staff are busy but not attentive to customers. The restaurant had continental feel about it, I liked the decor and furnishings and felt that I could have been in Paris. The French music enhanced that feeling. We had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely return to this restaurant and recommend the food and service to friends and family.”
